On June 19, Liberal Academy Tbilisi held a workshop for local non-governmental organizations and media representatives in Batumi. The purpose of the meeting was to equip local multipliers with skills and knowledge that will help them develop and increase resistance to radical, violent and extremist ideas and actors.

The event was implemented within the framework of the project funded by the United Nations Association of Georgia entitled Increasing Participation of Ethnic and Religious Minorities in the Process of Democratic Developments in Georgia and Augmenting Resilience of Society to Anti-Liberal Populism. This ongoing project aims to promote the process of democratic reforms and increase the resilience of the society to radical, violent and extremist ideas and actors.
