On October 10, at the hotel Seventeen Rooms in Telavi, Liberal Academy Tbilisi held a public lecture “Populism and Anti-Liberal Attitudes in the Regions of Georgia”. Telavi State University students and professors attended the lecture and following debates on liberalism and anti-liberalism. The developments and challenges in Kakheti and other regions of Georgia were discussed at the lecture.

The event was part of a project supported by the Netherlands embassy in Tbilisi, “Increasing Resistance of Society against Populism, Far-right Radicalism and anti-Western Propaganda.”

The lecture was led by LAT director Lasha Tughushi and journalist Zviad Koridze.
