European Initiative – Liberal Academy Tbilisi (EI-LAT), with the support of the Black Sea Trust of the German Marshall Fund, has completed the project “Georgia – Turkey Free Trade Agreement 2008: Results in Two Years”.

The study will examine Georgia-Turkey trade relations in the context of the foreign and economic policies of both countries. It also monitors the dynamics of trade between countries before and after the agreement. The aim of the project is to examine the results of the free trade zone between the countries, to explain the achievements of the countries and the problems to be overcome, as well as to describe how to maximize the potential benefits arising from the agreement.
