On September 25, at the Seventeen Rooms hotel in Telavi the Liberal Academy Tbilisi carried out workshop “Populism and Anti-Liberal Attitudes in the Regions of Georgia”. Local civic activists, journalists, and bloggers took part in the event, which was dedicated to discussions on the situation in Kakheti, and developments and challenges in different regions of Georgia.

The event was part of a project supported by the Netherlands embassy in Tbilisi, “Increasing Resistance of Society against Populism, Far-right Radicalism and anti-Western Propaganda.”

The workshop was led by LAT director Lasha Tughushi and journalist Zviad Koridze.
