On June 28, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Liberal Academy Tbilisi organized a public lecture on “Populism and anti-liberal attitudes in the regions of Georgia”, to which students and professors of Batumi University were invited. Liberal attitudes were discussed at the event The situation in Georgia as a whole, as well as the situation and challenges in different regions of the country, were discussed.

The meeting was part of a project supported by the Dutch Embassy, “Strengthening Public Resistance to Populism, Ultra-Right Radicalism and Anti-Western Propaganda.”

The public lecture was led by the head of the Liberal Academy Lasha Tugushi and journalist Zviad Koridze.
