On October 16, at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University Library a public lecture on “Populism and Anti-Liberal Attitudes in the Regions of Georgia” was organized by the Liberal Academy Foundation Tbilisi, to which students and professors of Akhaltsikhe University were invited. Liberal attitudes were discussed at the event The situation in Georgia as a whole, as well as the situation and challenges in different regions of Georgia were discussed.
The meeting was part of a project supported by the Dutch Embassy, “Strengthening Public Resistance to Populism, Ultra-Right Radicalism and Anti-Western Propaganda.”
The public lecture was led by the head of the Liberal Academy Lasha Tugushi and journalist Zviad Koridze.
