On October 17, at the Taba Hall Hotel in Akhaltsikhe, the Liberal Academy Foundation in Tbilisi organized a workshop on “Populism and Anti-Liberal Attitudes in the Regions of Georgia” to which representatives of Akhaltsikhe civil society and media were invited. The situation in the country as a whole, as well as the situation and challenges in different regions of Georgia were discussed at the event.
The meeting was part of a project supported by the Dutch Embassy, “Strengthening Public Resistance to Populism, Ultra-Right Radicalism and Anti-Western Propaganda.”
The workshop was led by the head of the Liberal Academy Lasha Tugushi and journalist Zviad Koridze.
