On October 17, at the Tabahall Hotel in Akhaltsikhe the Liberal Academy Tbilisi carried out workshop “Populism and Anti-Liberal Attitudes in the Regions of Georgia”. Local civic activists, journalists, and bloggers took part in the event, which was dedicated to discussions on the situation in the country as a whole, and challenges in different regions of Georgia.

The meeting was part of a project supported by the Netherlands embassy in Tbilisi, “Increasing Resistance of Society against Populism, Far-right Radicalism and anti-Western Propaganda.”

The workshop was led by LAT director Lasha Tughushi and journalist Zviad Koridze.
